Motherhood is an adventure filled with laughter, joy and love (not forgetting those challenging moments!). An outdoor setting provides the perfect location to capture these emotions. Children love exploring nature and an outdoor photoshoot gives them freedom. Little ones have the opportunity to explore with their favourite person: a chance to look for ladybirds, collect leaves, spot planes in the sky or simply cuddle up together and take in the surroundings.
To ensure a successful Mummy & Me photoshoot, careful planning is ideal. Start by talking to your child about the session, you could even show them a photo of me! Coordinate outfits in soft, complementary colours to enhance the natural surroundings and create a cohesive look. You may wish to bring meaningful props, like a special teddy or a favourite book, to add a personal touch to your session.
I love capturing genuine moments. I encourage mums to interact naturally with their children – whether it's a playful tickle, a cuddle or a shared giggle. As a family photographer, my goal is to freeze these beautiful moments in time, creating images that tell a story of your love and connection. Often my favourite images are candids showing your true selves.
